These services are designed to give carers a break from their caring role and can be arranged for planned breaks, regular weekly breaks, short holidays or emergencies.
Respite care allows short-term, temporary and emergency relief to your family and your carer from their caring roles. If family member or a friend is looking after you and need a break or additional help, our respite services can be arranged casually or on a regular basis or even in case of an emergency.
Respite care is beneficial for both the carer and the person being cared for as it not only gives a break to your regular carer but also give you the opportunity to meet new people and experience new things. Family members and carers can sometimes become tired both physically and mentally, which is why it is important that they get a break. CareSavvy ensures that the individual is receiving the highest level of care and their needs are met.
Participants with complex, personal requirements can be assisted by our experienced CareSavvy support wokers who is qualified to provide such supports. Various forms of day-to-day assistance is possible under this category.
For NDIS participants, funding for core supports or capacity building may fall into this category.
